The power of the imagination.
My little love is obsessed with pirates at the moment. I think that using the items around your house to transform your play to another place is cheapest and best way to have fun with little ones.
We worked on finding an outfit and creating a space:
black bandanna
eye patch (cord from thumb drive)
boots (rain boots)
booty (fake jewelry)
sword ($2 at Walmart for foam sword - we already had)
blankets hung from the walls to create sails
telescope (paper towel roll)
