Today is the last day to get free shipping from many of the photo gift companies.

At Shutterfly use SHIP50 to get free shipping on any order that is $50 or more (exp 12/15 at 4pm PST).

At Snapfish try FSDEC40 to get free shipping on $40 orders or more (exp 12/31) or you could also try BIGSAVE to get free shipping and 25% off.

And SEEHERE has different options for free shipping when you by photo books or certain other items.

Buy 3 get 1 Free AMC movie tickets!

From Dec 9th thru the 15th, you can go here and print a coupon to take to any AMC theater. When you get there with your family of 4 or group of four, you can pay for three tickets and get one free. I love this idea. It is good on Arthur Christmas, Happy Feet 2, The Muppets, and Puss in Boots.

We saw the Muppets and loved it. I would also like to take kids to see Arthur Christmas, and this coupon really makes it more economically possible to do so. Just be sure to pack your own snacks to increase the savings! The funny thing is, seeing two movies in that short amount of time would be more movies than I've gone to the theaters to see all year!

For those of you that are local readers, there is an AMC theater in Webster on Empire Blvd. That is quite a ways from me, but hopefully closer to you!

If you want to find an AMC theater near you, try here.

Book Review: Forever Fatihful

My latest free book from Waterbrook Multnomah's program Blogging for Books arrived a short while ago. It came in a huge box, because it was a HUGE book.

I received Forever Faithful, by Karen Kinsbury. It is considered a women's contemporary fiction piece. Inside it contained three novels, Waiting for Morning, A Moment of Weakness, and Halfway to Forever.

Kingsbury, who is also called the "Queen of Christian Fiction" by the New York Times, has a very nice manner to her writing. It is easy to follow and her characters are very realistic. I love the way she described some of the scenes so clearly in each book. It felt as though I were truly there in the scene as well.

In the first novel, Waiting for Morning, Kinsbury brings you through the life of a regular family as tradgedy hits. Hannah Ryan loses her husband and daughter in a fatal car accident caused by a drunk driver. The story brings you through Hannah's loss, her questioning of God, her steps through finding out how to mourn, hrer anger and hatred for the ones that seemed to cause her such pain and her life as a mother to the daughter that was saved.

Although I thought this book was very well written, it just was not my type of book. I think that there are tons of women out there that would enjoy this book. However, for me, it felt like a Christian soap opera that I had to force myself to read. If you like drama you will probably love this book.

All opinions are 100% mine. I recieved this book in return for my honest opinions. I was not paid for this review.

Fekkai Hair Care Products

So my daughter was super excited about the Heely's review, and I was super excited about this one. I hate doing my hair and never know what products are the right ones or any of that. So when the Fekkai Bzzkit came in the mail I was sooooooo excited to try it.

The bzzkit included a bottle of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner (both not pictured), a DVD with information, and then samples of other products to try.

Because my hair is wavy and often frizzes, I love the glossing cream. It seems to keep it more manageable. I have also noticed that it has been easier to comb through as well.

I normally would have never tried this brand because I had never found a coupon that would make it free, hehe. So it was really wonderful to get a chance to try a more high class product. And it has made me wonder if maybe I should put a little more money into my hair to actually get the results I want.

The basic mission of Fekkai is to "pamper you every day with luxurious formulas developed to address the  needs of different hair types and help maintain the healthy look of your hair."

They have four different collections available to do just that:

Glossing
Shea Butter
Technician Color Care
Full Volume

Each collection includes a shampoo, conditioner, and coordinating products to go with it.
This really was one of my favorite bzz kits. Have you tried Fekkai? If not, what products do you like to use?

I was sent this bzzkit from bzzagent in return for my honest review and was not compensated in any way. I was just asked to share my thoughts. All opinions are 100% mine!

Cheap diapers and no drug store stop needed

With the babe on the way, I have been disappointed in the Pampers deals lately. Then a friend of mine let me know that there were Pampers Swaddlers on clearance at Wegmans. It was only the size one sensitive in the 33ct. Looks like they are going to the 40ct only.

They are marked down to $6.96 and then you can use $2/2 from the P&G insert for November. Of this is just what I needed as I make it to the half way mark!!!!!

(Sorry - I need to rotate this!)
I also got one of these Snap On containers. They were on sale for $5.99 and my sister sent me a $3 off coupon that wasn't in my local insert. I love you sis and the big envelopes that come in my mail. You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coolest Review

I received an awesome opportunity to review a pair of Heely's shoes recently through Business2Blogger. I really wanted to get the shoes for my husband to try because he has talked for years about wanting a pair. Unfortunately he is so big that they didn't have his size in the options for bloggers to try. So instead I received a free pair for my daughter to try in return for my honest review.

When the box finally came, my daughter was filled with excitement. She had no idea what they looked like or how they worked. So we had a great time opening the box with anticipation and surprise. Here is what it came with:
There was the pair of shoes, a small tool, wheels and wheel covers

. I love that you can take the wheels out and cover the hole to make it usable in all situations. The shoes were really durable and well made. And it was super easy to exchange the wheels for the covers and back and forth. It only takes a second to pop it out and put the other in.

They fit slighly snug compared to other shoes of the same size, but still fit.

My little love is still very young, and it was kind of hard for her to get the hang of wearing the wheels at first. She did slip and fall, but all the while she had a great time. She did eventually get the balance and skills down to be able to slide around from place to place, but she still needs some practice.

The Heely's website has some great information for first time users, including how to videos, a playbook, and a note on being responsible while skaing. I thought that this was a great feature because I had no idea how to explain to my little love what to do and the video was a wealth of information so that I could give her tips and advice.

If you are at all interested in checking them out or possible making a purchase, they do have a deal going for Black Friday. I am in no way compensated for your purchases, I am simply just sharing information. But you can  buy one pair and get the second for $25 and I believe that ground shipping is free on all orders. This deal is taking place from November 25-28. You can check out all sorts of Heely's information here.

I know that I see my students with these shoes all the time.I think that they are sooooo cool. And I am so thankful for having the opportunity to try them with my little love. She thinks that this was by far the coolest thing that has ever come in the mail. It keeps us off the couch and having fun, and that means the world to me. Have any of you tried them? I'd love to hear what you think!!!!

Please note that I was sent the shoes in return for my review. All opinions are 100% mine and were not swayed in away by Heely's or Business2Blogger.

A few late Tops deals

Did anyone else get the $5 off $50 purchase on the front of a little weekend adviretisement last week? I usually get the Tops ad in my mailbox on Thursday or Friday and it has a Lowes and Rite Aid ad as well. The cover had this nice little Tops coupon. I might atually make a trip this week if I can make that $50 worth it!

Bison Dip $1.19
Super coupon (must make $20 purchase)
and use $0.50/1 from 10/2 SS
doubles to make it $0.19
(look for a later exp date and save for football parties!!! or get-togethers)

with Super coupon (must make $20 purchase)

Prego 3/$5
depending on your areas coupon $1/3, $0.75/2, $0.40/2 in 9/11 and 10/16 SS
Could be as low as $0.92 per jar

WhoNu Cookies 2/$5
use $1/1 from 10/23 SS

I have to be honest and say that I haven't shopped at Tops since the summer. It is kind of far away from me. And my lunch break isn't as long, so I can't go there then anymore either. So if I miss anything that is really good and you want it added, send me an email!

Wegmans Subs

I just want to share now that in no way did Wegmans ask me to write this. This is all my own opinion.

I personally, LOVE Wegmans subs. I think that the bread is incredible and the toppings are fresh. Even after 6 years of making subs in a pizzeria, I still love to go to Wegmans and get one of their subs. They are decently priced and will either feed more than one or make more than one meal. I can take a large sub and feed me (dinner and lunch the next day) and both of my kids (dinner). We just add some sides like chips/french fries and veggies.

So I am really excited that a Wegmans sub coupon is out there. The only bad part is that is EXPIRES tomorrow!!!!

A start to some current Wegmans deals

I started to do some match-ups and then found that the Wegmans website was not cooperating with my computer. I will try again from home tonight...

I usually make several posts about Wegmans deals. And I do this for a couple reasons.
Some of my posts are because the items are on sale. And others are just great coupons that come up and math up well with the great prices that my Wegmans has in comparison to nearby stores.

So here we go with some fresh posts from the new coupons.com coupons that are available.

Flatout bread $3.49
use $0.55/1 from coupons.com
doubles to make it $2.39

Lucky Charms $3.19

Book Reivew - Desiring God : Revised Edition

I have shared many times that Waterbrook Multnomah through "Blogging for Books" sends bloggers books for free and in return I share my honest opinions. The latest book I received was Desiring God : The revised edition by John Piper.

Desiring God, Revised Edition: Meditations of a Christian Hedonist

I have to tell you that this book took me a long time to get through. I started in early summer and just couldn't find the time to pick it up and keep going. It wasn't that it was poorly written or not interesting, it just wasn't what I was looking for that moment. However, now that  I have finished the book I think that it is a very interesting take on faith and God that you might not typically get when sitting in a church pew.

In the title it mentioned hedonists, or people that are in the constant pursuit of pleasure and happiness. Typically, from my religion classes and Christian background, it seems that anyone that believes in God and wants to do his will is basically led to believe that life will be full of sacrifice and some even paint our futures to look miserable for rest of outr lives as we "do God's will". However, Piper explains that life should be the pursuit of happiness in God. he basically says that God is most glorified when we are the most satisfied in our lives with Him. And to me this makes much more sense than previous teachings that were used when I was younger.  That  being said, I think that there are many people out there that could take pieces of this book and twist and turn it to sound selfish and not at all what was intended from the author.  So do be careful if you are given exerpts or sentences at a time. This book could be very misconstrued if you do not read the entire piece.

This is a great book for non-believers and for anyone straying from their belief. It is refreshing and compelling and it will force you to rethink about your faith and how you do God's will in your own life. I really encourage you to try it out if it fits your life and needs at this time!

Tops week of Oct 2 - Oct 8

Here are what I consider the best of the Tops items on sale this week. Be sure to check out your ad for more items on sale that you might need that I did not post.

Remember that there are Tops Doubler Coupons this week. So you can pair it up with one of you $1 off coupons to make $2 off something. I love those doublers... (just wish my Wegmans still took them :(  )

Planter's Peanut Butter $1.88
the coupons from SS already expired, but you may still have one from an email that one of the big companies sent out. Mine was for $2 off.

Margerhita Sliced Pepperoni $2
use $1/1 from 9/11 SS and $1/1 doubler from the ad
makes this free

Snikkidy All Baked Fries $2.29
use $1/1 from here after you sign up and $1/1 doubler from Tops ad

There are a bunch of drinks on sale this week:
lipton tea $4/4
use $1/4 from the 10/2 Pepsi insert (and you could also use a doubler)
makes this $0.75 each (or $0.50 each)

Minute maid juice boxes and sobe life water have a similar deal, but I was not able to get to coupons for either one. They are out there, but you may have already needed to print them....

Libby's Canned Veggies 3/$2
use $1/4 from 8/28 RP and could pair with a Tops doubler as well
could be as low as $0.17 per can!!!!! (time to stock up)

(Be careful here though. The $2 off instantly is for the Libby's fruit, not the veggies!!!)

There is also a deal where you save $5 when you buy 10 of the participating Keebler and Kelloggs items. I am still looking that over to see if it is anything worth doing. I'll get back to you.

Great coupons to print...

You can go here to get Pepsi and other snack coupons for your football or other get-togethers.
These include Pepsi, Sierra Mist, Fritos, Cheetos, Sunchips, etc. They look similar to a small insert that was in Sunday's paper!

Guess what!?!?!?!

Well you may or may not have guessed why I have been absent, but I would like to share with you the main reason. EXHAUSTION!!!! Two jobs, two kids, and everything else would leave most exhausted already, but the pregnancy with my third child has left me with little sanity and very little time. However, I still need to stock up since I will be out of work for a little while. And I need to start hunting down those diaper deals.

So, as I enter the second trimester this week, I will do my best to keep you updated on my savings and findings. And especially share any good Wegmans deals that might find there way to us.

If I disappear again at the beginning of April you will know why. I'll be sure to share pictures as the little babe arrives.

Fekkai Hair campaign with Bzz Agent

I know it has been a while since I mentioned anything, PERIOD. However, I want to remind you to sign up for any product testing/word of mouth companies that you are not a part of yet. My email has been full of really cool invites lately.

Tops Deals this week.

I have to tell you, I just can't seem to find things on sale that my family actually needs. I have been pouring over the Tops ads to find something magical so that I can earn those gas points, but it just doesn't make sense to go there and spend money on stuff we don't really need. In the end, I wouldn't be saving at all. Hopefully I am the only "Debby Downer" and you guys have been finding some great deals.

Here is some of the items I thought might interest you:

Have you signed up yet?

I know I have mentioned these before, but you really need to sign up with Kraft First Taste and Vocalpoint.

They have new products and coupons to share all the time. I just printed a $2 off Planters peanut butter coupon through KFT and signed up for a free Swiffer Duster through Vocalpoint. It is easy to sign up and you'll be glad you did.

Rue La La Credit

Hey guys, a couple months ago I was posting a lot of credits for different online shops that usually turned into some great free stuff. Here is another opportunity. You can shop with Rue La La and get a $10 credit. This is  my personal link to invite you. So if you do chose to shop you help me out too. (Just want you to know the truth!) The offer is open until 8/23.

Ok. I think it is time to get back to it...

This summer has just been crazy. I took on a "part-time" job teaching math courses online for a couple of different colleges to make ends meet for the summer. And, well let's say it was anything but part time. But then as things slowed down with that my little love hurt her ankle and had to be carried around and taken care of. In addition, my lovely laptop's battery is no longer working. So I can't take it outside with me while they play. So anyways.... it has been hard to keep up with some of the things I used to do.

But then I went grocery shopping. And the total .... $130!!!! I haven't seen this number in a long time. The sad part was I only saved $7 or $8. So needless to say, I am gettting back to it. I willl be trying to find good deals at Wegmans and share with you some of the other ways we have been making and saving money.

Once again, I apologize for going MIA. And to all that were searching for Wegmans deals, I am sorry for that too.

In my Mailbox

I know that signing up for freebies can seem silly, but there are really some great offers sometimes. Here is a picture of some of the recent items I have received in the mail for free.

This includes $30 worth of Shutterfly items. One of the mugs was in use during the picture... sorry. I also have a free coupon for Pantene products.

The best way to find out about these freebies would be to check out sites like freestufftimes.com, forthemommas.com and even walmart.com and target.com have a freebie/samples section. I love the samples because they often come with a high value coupon for a full size item for you to use if you like the product.

You can also get freebies, like the trash bags I got, by signing up with word of mouth companies like Kraft First Taste, Vocalpoint,  and pssst.

Wegmans Stop

As the end of the month approaches, I like to go through my coupons and see if I have any that are about to expire and need to be used. Most get thrown away because they aren't something that my family needs or uses, but there were a few that I found and had to use before August arrived.

Here are some of the things I picked up with expiring and non-expiring coupons. I was very happy to see that I saved over $37 and didn't spend near that amount.

3 Chi-chi's tortillas $1.19
used $0.50/1 from
doubled to make it $0.19 each

2 Turkey Hill Iced Teas $2.29 each
use $1/2 from
and $1/2 from Wegmans receipt
made this $1.29 each

2 John Frieda full repair $5.49 each
used 2- $5 off expired 7/31
and used $1 off health and Beauty Wegmans coupon
made these free

1 Country Choice Organic Cookies $3.49
used $1/1 from mambosprouts.com
and used $1/1 nature's market wegmans coupon
made these $1.49

2 Redhot Sauces $1.19
used 2- $0.50/1 expired 7/31

doubled to make them $0.19 each

2 Pillsbury Brownies $0.99 each
used $1/2 from
makes these $0.49 each

Sorrento Mozzerela $4.19
used $2/1 from
made this $2.19

4 coke 20oz $1.59
used 4 - $0.75/1 when you buy prepared foods (bagels were in the picture and my hubby eats these every morning.
doubled to make each soda $0.09

I also had some freebie coupons to use up from kraft first taste and vocal point
 - coffehouse creamer
 - breakstone cottage cheese items

I have my sisters to thank for most of these coupons. They have been giving me all of their unwanted coupons. And it has really been a blessing.

Back from vacation

HI everybody. Sorry I disappeared for a while. The kids and I took a little road trip to visit family. And for the short time that I had with them, I did not focus my time on couponing. Sorry!!!

And I am very excited to be back. Tops has started a new cycle for the gas points. So I will have some match-ups for that soon. I just got the ad in my hand. It also looks like Rite Aid is doing away with the $3 off $15 coupon?!?!? And I need to start hunting for some deals at Wegmans. Plus I found a new Wegmans coupon insert in the store and I will let you know what was inside with some match-ups.

More posts in the making now! :)

Rite Aid Stop

I know it has been a while since I posted anything about RA. I went today to use about $10 in +ups that were expiring in hope that I could roll them a little.

Here is what I did:

4 Softsoap bodywashes $2.99 each x 4 = $11.96
2 Kids sunglasses - foster & grant and 1 style science
     - these were BOGO 50% off (one was $9.99 and the other $6.99 - or $3.49 after 50% off)

Total was $25.44

I used $3 off $15 from receipt survey
$5 Foster & Grant from July Video Values
$5 off Style Science from July Video Values
$10.38 in +ups

I paid $2.04 plus tax. Then I got back $8 in +ups for the Softsoap. Not great, but not too bad.

I am looking forward to the Pampers deal next week.

How did you do?

Summer Time

I have been really enjoying the summer this year. The deals have been less than impressive and instead of bombarding you with the same stuff you can find at any blog, I have been playing with my kids. It has been great.

I love couponing, but like anything else it is important not to neglect your family. So I have been putting them as my top priority. In addition, I have a tendency to become obsessed with things. Couponing is one of them. I a year or so ago I realized that I was telling my kids to wait and just hold on until mommy is done and why.... so I could get a couple more free tubes of toothpaste??? Well, it was a bit more than that. But to be honest, the kids didn't really care how our stockpile was doing. My babes had no idea we were having money trouble. And I realized that I have to enjoy every second that I can while they are so little and cute.

So I have been spending a bit less time on the internet and more time living on love. I will get back to the deals and I am sorry to anyone that has been searching for them. I will have new Wegmans match-ups for you soon. And Tops this week looked BLAH to me.

How has your summer been going?

Free Shaving Cream at Wegmans

A big thank you to Allison for sharing this one with us: Free Pure Silk shaving cream. It is on sale for $1.49 and there is a $0.80 coupon in the 7/10 RP that came out yesterday. This coupon will double to make it free.

I went to check it out while grocery shopping this morning and my store only had about 3 left. Wegmans is usually pretty good about restocking, but don't be surprised if it is low right now....

Thanks again to Allison!!!
