Rite Aid Stop
I got the above pictured item in 3 transactions. I didn't think that the Tuesday I went there would be anything left, but there was actually quite a healthy supplry of everything I was looking for. So I had to go home and get more coupons to return on

I can't tell you how many people comment in this price.... helps to average out the NYS gas prices...

Chocolate Pretzel Snacks
Here is a quick and delicious treat that I use for parties and get togethers. I cannot take credit for this idea. It actually came from a couple of students that I had in previous years. The girls brought this in as a treat one day and I could not stop munching...
Here's what you'll need:
Pretzels (I use Snyder's "Snaps")
chocolate wafers (found in the bulk section)
m&ms
Here's what you do:
Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.
Place pretzels on a cookie sheet. Then place one chocolate wafer on top.
Place in over for about 2 minutes. It has to be just enough to heat up the chocolate so that it will stick to the pretzel.
As soon as it comes out of the oven place an M&M in the center and let cool.
Then try not to eat them all before your guests come over.
I use these at parties, movie snacks, and on the road for a sweet treat.

Wegmans Match-Ups with Smartsource Coupons
Frugal Winter Fun!
Are your kids off this week? We are and we are having fun. There are some incredible activities in the Rochester area (Museum of Play, Dinosaur exhibit at Museum & Science Center, etc.) But you can keep it simple too. We try to get as much fresh air as possible. And going to our backyard is free!!!
What are you doing this week?
Making time for me... without a whole lot of $$$
Thanks to Crystal Light for sponsoring this post. To learn more about how Crystal Light can flavor your day with 30 refreshing flavors, visit http://www.facebook.com/crystallight.
Being a mom, a teacher, and a blogger doesn't leave me with a whole lot of time for just me. I am sure that the mommies out there know what I am talking about. And I know other teachers out there would agree too. Now I know that some of my colleagues go to the spa, get their nails done, or even go out to happy hour. And I don't see anything wrong with them spending their time and money in any way they want, but I don't have these options. So what is a girl to do?
Well, here are some of the things that I do to find time for me and not break our very small bank:
1.) I get up before my family to exercise. You can get DVDs with your swagbucks online through Amazon. Or you can just do exercises on your own. I even use an inexpensive jump rope. Or most of you know that I also LOVE to run. It is cheap and keeps me happy.
2.) I shut and lock the door when it is time for a shower. Now this might sound silly to some. But for a long time, my little ones would even follow me into the bathroom. I never had a moment alone. AHHHHHHH I was going crazy. So now, I make sure my hubby is around and tell him that I don't want to be interrupted. It is glorious and doesn't cost anything extra.
3.) My hubby and I purchased a dish washer. This one probably sounds non-frugal. Well, in a sense I think it is. I believe that my time is worth more than money. And it felt like I went to work, went for my afternoon run with the kids, made dinner, and then washed dishes. That was the evening. Really sounds great doesn't it? So a few months ago my hubby and I did our homework. We started watching the deals and researching stores and options. We found one that fit our budget and got it. I swear it was the best purchase we ever made. I have my life back. Now my family can play an evening game, play outside, or work on my little loves reading and writing and I can be a part of it. And not feeling guilty about the time with my family helps me not feel guilty about the time I take for me.
4.) I save redbox codes for "chick flicks." I used to feel bad about renting movies that I only watch. But when you are getting one for free it doesn't seem so bad. I only get to do this one about once a month. It is usually a Saturday when hubby it out, babe is sleeping, and my little love it doing "art supplies."
5.) I try to do some of the shopping alone. Sometimes it might just be a quick trip to Rite Aid, but since couponing and finding deals are something that helps our family and something I enjoy, I try to get a few minutes alone where I can wander to any part of the store, look at things that aren't on my list, and just get to think. If you've been shopping with a little one recently, then you probably know just how great going to the store without someone begging, pulling things off the shelves, needing to use the bathroom, and so on.Now obviously, what I do might not work for everyone, but I hope that it gets you thinking about ways you can get a few minutes for yourself just about everyday. Find something you love or something that will help you relax and find a way to fit it in your day and budget. And enjoy this great life we've been given!!!
Remember, visit http://www.facebook.com/crystallight to learn more about how Crystal Light can flavor your day with 30 refreshing flavors. I was selected and paid for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Wegmans: Consistent Low Prices
If you ever look at the Wegmans weekly circular, I am sure that you have seen the term "Consistent Low Prices." I am going to abbreviate and call them CLPs. At first, I was kind of annoyed. Wegmans kept posting these in the circular and I thought they were trying to trick people into thinking these items were on sale. As time went on, and I got better at comparative shopping and coupon matching, I realized that these products were better than on sale. These were prices that were always that low. I didn't have to rush in time to make the sale. And if I didn't get enough when I stocked up, the price was the same weeks and sometimes months later. To me the CLPs are more of a guarantee that I will be able to afford to get what my family needs.
So that being said, I am very excited about the recent press release from Wegmans. They are guaranteeing a consistent low price on 40 different items throughout the rest of 2011. And it isn't silly stuff. These are items that everyone uses: produce, pasta, meat, laundry detergent, and even yogurt. Because they have included many varieties and sizes this ends up including around 200 different items.
You can see all the items and prices for your local store here.
What do you think about this????

More Wegmans Coupons
Update: I did get word from Wegmans that top shoppers received the $14 coupon booklet. It was based on dollar amount spent when using the SCC. So if you shop without using your SCC or is you use someone elses you wouldn't have as high of a dollar amount qualifying you for the coupon booklet.
My hubby is on his way to Wegmans... no surprise there... And that got me to thinking about their mysterious coupons. Yesterday my mother in law brought over her leftover coupons. Yes... she brings me whatever she doesn't use. She is wonderful. And inside the bag was a coupon booklet from Wegmans. I finally have proof that there are some other Wegmans coupon booklets being sent out. I did not receive this one if the mail, but my mother in law did just a town over. She cut some of them out to use her self, but I could see that there were coupons for Wegmans yogurt,$1 off Wegmans Chips, $1 off $5 for a number of different items (meat, sushi, prepared foods, nature's market, etc.)
I am still not sure who is getting these or why. I shared with you the two coupons I got in the mail. I love basically up the street from Wegmans. And my mother in law is about a 15 minute from Wegmans and got the "booklet." So I am not sure if it has anything to do with distance. The booklet also said thank you for being a great customer. (I am about to call my mom and see if she got one... and if she wants them..he he he)
On a side note: The blog is about a year old now. I still consider myself fairly new at this. With Wegmans being one of my main blogging topics, I am just asking anyone out there reading this to let me know what I can do to make the Wegmans post more useful. Is there anything out there that you would like to know that I am not covering? Thanks for your help and support :)

Wegmans Coupon Policies
I thought that it might be helpful to break down Wegman's Coupon Policy by location. I hope that you find this helpful.
New York (except Johnson City), New Jersey, parts of PA (Downington, WArrington, Collegeville, Malvern, Erie, and State College) and Fredericksburg, VA
- coupons will be doubled if their face value is $0.99 or less
- only 4 like coupons will be doubled per day. If you have more than 4 you'll get the face value off for the remaining coupons only.
- only 4 manufacturer's coupons for FREE products will be taken per day
- you can use one manufacturer's coupon and one store coupon. The discount can not be for more than the price of the item. (no overage)
- only one coupon can be used on club packs or bulk items
- they do NOT accept internet coupons with the word free
- you have up to 2 weeks to bring in coupons that you may have forgotten with your receipt
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
The previous coupon policy applies, except that when they double coupons the maximum amount taken off is $0.99. So a $0.75 coupon becomes $0.99 off (not $1.50 off).
Johnson City, NY, parts of PA (Allentown, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Scranton, Williamsport, and Wilkes-Barre)
The previous coupon policy applies, except that when they double coupons the maximum amount taken off is $1.00. So a $0.75 coupon becomes $1 off (not $1.50 off).
Virginia and Maryland (except in Fredericksburg)
The previous coupon policy applies, except that when they double coupons only coupons with a value of $0.50 or less will be doubled. So a $0.75 coupon stays $0.75 off, but a $0.50 off coupon becomes $1 off.
When I post my deals I base them on the NYS coupon policy. Please keep this in mind as you are planning your grocery lists.

My heart skipped a little
The other night, I made homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner. I thought we had crackers, but my hubby had left an empty box in the cupboard. So he ran to Wegmans. When I checked the receipt I saw that he had used a coupon, but I hadn't given him one. So I asked him about it. He said there were tear-pad coupons near by and he thought he should use it. I almost cried!!! This is coming from the man that just a few months ago was hassling me about not wanting to use our time on clipping coupons, not wanting to bring coupons with him to the store, etc. He just keeps amazing me....
Wegmans coupons!!!!!
Yesterday I received coupons in my mailbox from the Wegmans Pharmacy. It said thank you for my business.... I did use the pharmacy in January for my little love because she had an ear infection, so I'm not sure if everyone is getting this coupon or not.
It included:
$1 off any $4 Health and Beauty purchase
$1 off any $3 Nature's Market purchase
As I read the options I instantly thought of the $2 off Almay coupon to see if there could be some good deals. Right now the Almay smoky eye shadow is on sale for $4.99. So if you use the Wegmans coupon and the Almay coupon you could get it for $1.99.
And don't forget to sign up at wegmans.com for the fresh news e-mails. This week's coupon is $1 off any Wegmans Bake and Rise Pizza. These run for $3.99. So after the coupon it is only $2.99. My family has eaten these and they are pretty good.

Lips Smackers at Rite Aid
I went back yesterday, armed with my $1/2 coupon I mentioned the other day. And I found these and many others marked 75% off. So before coupons the lip glosses were $0.69 and $0.73. This is still a great deal if you already used the coupon back in December. I am going to check anothe Rite Aid and see if these are on clearance there too. I'll let you know.
Wegmans: Clearance Toy Finds
While at Wegmans, my love and I were traveling through the clearance stuff. We found Toy Story and Princess "suitcases" and small bins starting at $2.92. We also found sticker books for $0.39. I'm thinking these might be nice to stash away for Easter or if you have a "gift closet" for future gift giving needs.
I found them near the seasonal/dishes section near the registers.

Rite Aid: Lip smacker & Bonne Belle Clearance
While at Rite Aid I noticed some lip smackers clearance deals 75% off! I think there still might be a $1/2 coupon
here that was posted in December. This should make it near free. I cannot guarantee that this will be on sale at your Rite Aid too. Please don't run out just for this!!!
Weekly Rite Aid Trip
So my hubby's +up account has almost reached the $100 mark for the $20 reward, so I decided to sacrifice so +ups to get some extras and get us to that $100 mark so that another $20 +up would be in my Rite Aid envelope.
I was not able to find any Dove at any of the Rite Aids I tried, but here is what I did get:
2 Ziploc Freezer bags 2/$5
used $1/2 to make them 2/$4
got back $2 +up
2 Ziploc Sandwich bags 2/$5
used $1/2 to make them 2/$4
got back $2 +up
4 bags of m&ms 2/$5
used 2- $1.50 off printed coupons
made these $1.75 each
2 Chex Mix 2/$3
used $1/2 from an insert and $0.50 Video Values
made these $0.75 each
got back 2- $1 +ups
2 Lays Stax 2/$3
got back 2 +ups
2 Maalox $4.99
used 2- $5 off coupons
got back 2- $1+ups
1 bag of cheesy puffs $1.25
(I had one little love that patiently went from Rite Aid to Rite Aid and I gave in)
1 candy bar that little love ate because I was short $0.27 from being able to use my $20 +up to pay for all of this.
So I paid with a $1 Video value coupon, a $20 +up and $0.96 oop. I got back $10 in +ups and I am not sure, but think that I am only a few dollars away from the Reward, hard to tell because the receipts keep changing. I am going back tomorrow because "my store" handed finished unpacking their delivery and the manager thinks there might be Dove inside them..... We'll see.
Wegmans: Gain dryer sheets $0.49
At Wegmans $3.49 per box
use $3 coupon from 2/13 Redplum
total cost $0.49
While I was there I also noticed that the Phil Cream Cheese Cooking cream is $2.49
use $1.50 off from coupons.com to make it $0.99

Surviving Valentine's on a Budget
Multigrain Cheerios & a giveaway
I am going to admit, one of my new year's resloutions was to lose weight. Not much, but enough to feel comfortable in my clothes. So I have been getting up early each morning to pack my salad with chicken and do my work out... no matter how tired I am. However, so far, I haven't lost a pound!
So when I was given the opportunity to try Multigrain Cheerios, I was excited to see if maybe this change would help move that scale. Thanks to Cheerios and MyBlogSpark, I got the cute bag, water bottle, and snack container with a box of Multigrain Cheerios and a code to access all sorts of helpful tools and tips for my weight loss journey.
The Cheerios are delicious. Normally I am a Honeynut Cheerios fan. But these are great. I have been using the little purple container to pack Cheerios as a snack each day for that 3:00pm calling that leaves me craving sugar and chocolate and.... well all of those yummy naughty things... The Multigrain Cheerios have a sweetness to them and a crunch that makes them perfect for that dragging late afternoon snack attack.
Inside of the box is an access code that will allow you to use all sorts of great tools on the Multigrain Cheerios website. There are recipes, workouts, a BMI calculator, a 7 day plan, and even a section to keep on track through encouragement and motivation. This is great for someone that just needs an easy place to start.
Would you like to try them?
You could go to Multigrain Cheerios website and print a $0.75 coupon. (This will double at some stores)
Or you can enter to win the same prize pack pictured above. All you have to do is leave a comment below stating how the tools on the Multigrain Cheerios website could help you on your weight loss journey. And leave your email address so that I can contact you back. I will use random.org on February 28th to pick a winner from the comments provided. Only one entry per person.
All opinions are 100% mine. I was not compensated for this review, but I was sent the pictured items for free from Cheerios through MyBlogSpark.

Rite Aid Stop
I went to Rite Aid on Sunday, but just to look for frosting and get diapers. I didn't have my coupons ready to go again until today.
At my first stop I grabbed:
6 boxes of cereal $1.99 each
I used 2- $1/3 from redplum to make each around $1.66 each
then I got back $3 in +ups from the Frosted Flakes
(I believe the Rice Crispies also may be producing a +up.)
2 Halls Cherry $2/2
used $1/2 and $0.50 VV to drop price to $0.50 for both
then got back $1 +up
2 boxes of Cheez-its $1.99 each
used $1/2 to drop price to $1.49 each
then got back $2 in +ups
This scenario would have been better with a $4 off $20 if I had had one with me....I had to use $12 in +ups to pay for this and $1 Video Value coupon (and $0.42 oop). I got back $6 in +ups. It wasn't free, but we were running low on my hubby's fav - Apple Jacks. Like I said before, he can eat a box in a sitting.... and he's still so skinny...
While I was there, one of my favorite managers handed me this little Rite Aid bag with a mug, flash light, pen, and bag of Doritos and said it was customer appreciation day. How cute!!! Anyone else get this?
I went to a second Rite Aid to try and find paper towels. The other was out. I was able to get 4 and some more Halls for hubby.
4 Paper Towels $1.29 each - on sale BOGO Free
used 2- $1/2 coupons from P&G insert
made these $0.29 for 2 or about $0.15 each
I got more halls with same deal as above minus the Video Values Coupon
And I grabbed two peanut butter hearts $0.50 each
used a BOGO coupon that was about to expire
made these $0.25
I used another $1 Video Value Coupon here and only had to pay $0.32 oop. And I got $1 +up on my receipt. Not too bad.....
The trucks come in on Saturday to my fav Rite Aids, so I am hoping they will have more frosting. But we will see.
