Stork Brokers

If your house is like mine, then you might have too much kids stuff everywhere. There are many things that you could do with this unwanted stuff. I usually give away to someone else in need, but maybe some of you would like to make some cash from these items. Bzzagent just sent me info on a particular company that offers one way of making money off these items. It is called Stork Brokers.

StorkBrokers

Their mission - to help parents find new value in their kids' old things.

According to their webpage this is a place for digital dads and savvy moms looking to make great deals and maybe some extra cash.

"Ah, kids — they grow up so fast! Which means they grow out of stuff fast, too. So what can you do with their toys, clothes and accessories after they’ve moved on to something new? Sell them on StorkBrokers.com and find new value in your kids’ old things. Then when it’s time to restart the cycle, know you can find the stuff you need at reasonable prices right here, too. Sell, shop, save! If only every part of parenting was this easy."

Now, I went to the website to try and find out more. It doesn't cost to join. And if your item doesn't sell you don't pay either. I did see that there is a 6% flat rate on any item that does actually sell... I searched and couldn't find anything about shipping costs.... So this program isn't totally free, but might be easier than running a garage sale for some of us. And would make money for those of you that need extra cash. SoI am not totally sold, but still interested to find out more.

What do you think? What do you do with your unwanted stuff?
