I really don't like having to go to Tops, but using coupons there to get cheaper gas in New York is HUGE!!!!!!!! So I will keep trying to find some cheap ways for us to get our gas prices lower. I am now at $0.60 off per gallon and have a couple more weeks to get it lower. I am soooo excited!
I didn't get my early copy of the Tops ad for next week like I usually do, so any match-ups will take a few days.
And also, I didn't know this since I'm new to couponing at Tops, but some of their sales last longer than one week. (like the goya and cruch bars that I picked up this week!)
Wegmans Shopping Trip
I have to apologize that I haven't posted my Wegmans pictures in a while.
Here are some of the freebies that I picked up.
Travel Sized Advil $1.99

It does have to over-rided by cashier, so I don't know if all will allow.

made these free
Cortaid anti-itch cream $2.99
used $3/1 from 4/17 insert that expires 6/30

This trip was extrmemly successful. I spent as much as I saved (about $40 spent and $40 saved). I will grab receipt and see what else I picked to remind you of.
Now that I am on summer vacation, be looking for more Wegmans match-ups. I love being HOME!!!!

Book Review: When the Soul Mends
I have mentioned to you before that I am very blessed to be a part of Blogging for Books. This is a place where I am given free books in return for my honest review.
My latest novel was When the Soul Mends by Cindy Woodsmall. I was excited to read this book because I had recently read other work by Condy Woodsmall about the ties between the Old Order Amish and those of us that are not.
I am going to be completely honest with you in my review. This is the third book in a series call Sister of the Quilt. I have not had the opportunity to read the other two books that came prior to this part of the story. So for me there were tons of characters that I couldn't keep straight and mini stories that I didn't have the background information to guide my reading. So the book was hard for me to grab on to at first.
As I got farther into the book it had a wonderful tale of love, forgiveness, and all of the toils and troubles that happen in our lives. It was very well written and easy to read.
I recommend that anyone that wants to read about the Old Order Amish and the typical American lifestyles colliding to pick up this series. I would just start with the first books in the bunch, When the Heart Cries and When the Morning Comes.
If you are interested here is a brief summary from christianbook.com:
After receiving a desperate and confusing call from her sister, Hannah Lapp reluctantly returns to the Old Order Amish community of her Pennsylvania childhood.
Having fled in disgrace more than two years earlier, she finally has settled into a satisfying role in the Englischer world. She also has found love and a new family with the wealthy Martin Palmer and the children she is helping him raise. But almost immediately after her arrival in Owl’s Perch, the disapproval of those who ostracized her, including her headstrong father, reopens old wounds.
As Hannah is thrown together with former fiancĂ© Paul Waddell to work for her sister Sarah’s mental health, hidden truths surface about events during Hannah’s absence, and she faces an agonizing decision. Will she choose the Englischer world and the man who restored her hope, or will she heed the call to return to the Plain Life --- and perhaps to her first love?

Walmart Stop: Dial Overage
I maybe make it to Walmart about once ev.ery 2 weeks. I wait until we need something or the deals are just too good to pass up. This week I had gathered a bunch of the dial $2 coupons that I planned to use for overage. I sure don't need more bodywash, but couldn't pass up the chance to pay for the other items.
Here are some deals I had been compiling:
Mission Tortilla Wraps $2.29???
(I forgot to grab receipt) no coupon
4 Hershey's Syrups $1.68 each
used 2- $1/2 from 5/22 SS
makes these $1.18 each
2 Tic Tacs $1.09
used $1/1 from 6/12 RP
makes these $0.09 each
2 Red Baron frozen pizzas $2.98
used 2 - $1/1 old print from coupons.com
made these $1.98 each
1 Pert Plus $0.97
used $1/1 from 5/22
made $0.03 overage
3 Reach floss $0.88 each ($2.64 total)
used $1/1 and $2.50/2
made $0.86 overage
6 Dial Bodywash $0.97 each ($5.82 total)
used $2/1 from 6/12 RP
made $6.18 overage
So total started at $26.58. I then handed over $22.50 in coupons. So I paid $4.08 plus tax! Not too bad...

Tops Shopping Trips
Well, it looks like Tops has actually started to grab my attention. I went last week to grab some of the free milky ways, cheap goya beans, and other stuff. And after earning money off gas, I was hooked.
So I went back this week and grabbed the following:
2 KC masterpiece BBQ sauce $1.50
used 2- $1/1 from 5/22 SS
made this $0.50 each
1 Hidden Valley Farmhouse $2.50
used $1/1 from 5/22 SS
made this $1.50 each
2 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks 2/$4
used $0.50/2 from 5/1 or 5/22 SS
doubled to make it 2/$3 or $1.50 each
2 Goya Rice $1.29
used 2-$0.55/1 from goya.com
doubled to make them $0.19 each
8 Crunch Bars $0.59
used 4- $0.50/2 from 5.22 SS????
doubled to make them $0.09 each
4 Skittles and 4 Starbursts $0.50 each
used the 4 - $0.50/2 printable I mentioned yesterday
doubled to make them free
*So I spent a little over $6 for all and earned more money off gas. Remember that every 10 coupons you redeem is $0.10 off gas per gallon.
*I will go back to use another ten coupons and if you buy 6 of the KC Masterpiece or Farmhouse dressing you can earn another 200 points or $.20 off per gallon of gas!!!!!

Duncan Hines Amazing Glazes $1/1 printable
$0.50 off Helluva Good Sour Cream Dip printable
(at Wegmans these are $1.89 or $0.89 after coupon)
Unilever Coupons
One of the easiest ways to get coupons is to sign up with the company. This can be time consuming if you by a lot of different products. So it is great when you find one website that holds mulitple coupons for different products. One such place is makinglifebetter.com. I have found country crock, wishbone, breyers, degree, dove, etc. all here. Plus there is a section for samples as well. And best of all it is all in one place.
You do have to sign up which means sharing personal information. I feel kind of weird about putting my birthdate in, so just created an alternative birthday that I share with companies. And if it doesn't have a star next to it I don't fill it in. That way I'm not giving out any more info than I have to.

Welcome to Deal-licious Debby
I have noticed that there are some new people coming over to Deal-licious Debby and checking it out. I started about a year ago and mainly focus on Wegmans deals with a few other stores sprinkled in here and there. And then I try to bring you any other deals, money making opportunities, or ways to have fun for less that the other blogs are posting. There are so many coupon and freebie blogs that I work to bring you different information than the hundreds of others out there.
I want to make sure that you are finding what you need here. Please let me know if there are store deals that you are looking for or anything else that might be of your interest. I will work hard to make sure that I either post that info or can leave you a link to another blogger that does a great job gathering that info.
This blog is meant to help others, so please don't be shy. I want to help you.
Please leave me some comments or suggestions so that I can make this blog helpful for you!!!

Free Dial Soap + Overage
I am not the biggest fan of shopping at Walmart, but with so many stores making their coupon policies more strict, Walmart's new ok for overage has got me going in there more often than I used to.
So here is the deal, on Sunday there was a $2 off any Dial lotion or bodywash coupon. It doesn't exclude any of the small or travel size items. So you can use it on the $0.97 bodywash found in the travel section and actually make $1.03 on each one. They won't hand you money, but you can use it towards the other items that you need to purchase like milk, bread, or other things that typically can't be bought for free.
Please note, although the coupon policy has changed, so cashiers may still give you a hard time about using it on a travel sized item.
Here are just a couple other items you might want to look for:
Noxzema bikini razor $1.97
use $2/1 from 5/1 RP
makes it free
Secret Clinical Strength Travel $2.47
use $3/1 from P&G home mailer

Carefree liners $0.97

makes this free
Pert Plus travel Size $0.97
use $1/1 from 5/15 SS
makes this free
Mini Deli Heinz Ketch-ups $0.60
use $0.50/1 from
makes this $0.10 each

Make money with House Labs
You may have heard of House Parties by now. It is where you sign up to host a party that features a product that all your guests get to try. There are usually cute little party favors and snacks. I have done a couple through different companies and have had fun.
Well, now the company House Parties is offering House Labs. Here is what they sent to me:

The House Party team is inviting you to be an "insider" with our newest addition, HouseLab.
HouseLab is a cool way for House Party community members to give feedback on products and brands and get paid for it! Yes, we're talking cash and goodies all for just giving your opinion. You answer the questions, you get the dough or free stuff. It's that easy!
This is just one of the many benefits of your House Party membership and we want you to be the first to participate.
All you need to do is answer a few simple questions so we can ensure you get invitations for HouseLab studies that are right for you.

Great Coupons
I know that many of you may have known about these coupons already, but I have been a little out of the loop this week. (The entire family has been SICK!)
Anyways go here to print some awesome coupons. If you don't have a code use: 63829897.
Most of them will double to make some sweet deals. Some of these products were just on sale at Tops, but I was too sick to even post about them. Sorry. But you can still get some great prices at Wegmans.
Here are just a couple of examples:
Peter Pan peanut butter $1.99
use $0.50/1
doubles to make it $0.99
Banquet frozen meals $0.99
use $0.50/2
doubles to make them $0.49 each when you buy 2
Chef Boyardee $0.79 (price good until 6/25)
use $0.50/3
doubles to make about $0.46 a can when you buy three
There are other coupons on the site as well. The best things about these coupons is that you can print 10 copies instead of the typical 2!!!!! Just keep hitting your back button to get more to print.
